In The Community
Da Little School has been actively contributing to the society bringing the joy of the arts out to the community. We are partners with the Children’s Cancer Foundation @ KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital since January 2012 providing Art Therapy to terminally ill children.
We regularly collaborate with our partners in providing art services in workshops and seminars. Our partners include, Harper Bazaar, Singapore Arts Festival, Singapore Peranakan Museum, Avana, Huggies, Children Cancer Foundation, SmartKids Asia, Young Parents, Motherswork, St. James Kindergarten, OKTO Filming, Media Development Authority Singapore and SAFRA National Service Association and Crib Summit for Mumpreneurs.
Our confident and talented children take their inspiration from their shared love for performing arts to outdoor performances. They have since wowed the public at Mama’s Bazaar, Smartkids Asia, Singapore Arts Festival and Media Preview, The Esplanade, Young Parents Fiesta Road show, Books Kinokuniya, The Better Toy Store and Toa Payoh SAFRA.
We equip our children with enhanced performing skills, by offering the London College of Music Examinations. This is an international examinations board offering graded qualifications in music, drama and communication. Our kids have attained distinction in the Speech and Drama (LCM) Group Performance Entry Level.
We were also awarded Young Performers Bronze Certificate from the Trinity Guildhall Musical Theatre and Performance Arts.
We partnered with Play-Doh Singapore to commemorate the Largest Play-Doh 60th Birthday Bash 2016, we produced a series of stop motion videos (YouTube link to be attached) and also created a gigantic Play-Doh cake. Our energetic art educators entertained the participants with songs and interactive ‘Dear Zoo’ storytelling session as they simultaneously created animals with Play-Doh.
Our dynamic multifaceted program is designed to stimulate a child’s creativity and capacity to explore his own artistic originality. Registration is open to children 18 months to 10 years old.
